How To Do A Deep Conditioning Treatment

Static, improper styling methods, or incorrect storage can lead to tangles. You can prevent and manage tangles by maintaining a regular conditioning routine:

• Pre- and Post-Wear Care: Treat your wig to a deep conditioning session before and after heavy wear using natural oils like coconut or olive oil mixed with your favorite conditioner.
• Avoid Product Buildup: Keep heavy hair sprays and styling products to a minimum to prevent sticky buildup and excess tangling.
• Weekly Soak: At least once a week, soak your wig in warm water. Remove it and apply conditioner liberally, starting from the ends and working your way up toward the roots.
• Let It Absorb: Sit back and let the wig absorb the nutrients for about 20 minutes.
• Rinse Clean: Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then finish with a cool water rinse to help seal the hair cuticles.
• Dry Gently: Use a soft towel to gently blot away excess water without rubbing.
